Welcome to Amman Board. By accessing or using our website at ammanboard.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a binding electronic agreement in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015 of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Amman Board is an online platform that enables businesses in Amman, Jordan to post and discover business opportunities including, but not limited to, collaborations, services, supplier needs, hiring, promotions, and commercial spaces. Amman Board acts solely as a listing and intermediary platform and is not a party to any transactions, agreements, or arrangements between users. In accordance with the Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015, this Platform facilitates electronic commercial communications but does not itself constitute an offer or acceptance of any goods or services.

2. Eligibility

To use Amman Board, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, in compliance with Jordanian civil law regarding legal capacity
  • Have the legal authority to represent the business you are listing
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your submissions, as required under the Consumer Protection Law of Jordan
  • Operate or intend to operate a business within Amman, Jordan
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining any required business licenses or registrations under Jordanian law

3. User Responsibilities

When using Amman Board, you agree to:

  • Post only genuine, real business opportunities
  • Provide accurate business contact information
  • Not post misleading, false, or deceptive content, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law of Jordan which prohibits deceptive commercial practices
  • Not use the platform for illegal activities or purposes that violate Jordanian law, including but not limited to the Penal Code, trade regulations, and anti-fraud laws
  • Not post content that is offensive, discriminatory, or harmful
  • Not attempt to scrape, spam, or otherwise abuse the platform, in accordance with the Cybercrime Prevention Law
  • Not impersonate another business or individual
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others as protected under Jordanian copyright and trademark laws

4. Electronic Transactions and Records

In accordance with the Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015, you acknowledge that:

  • Electronic records, signatures, and communications generated through this Platform have the same legal validity and enforceability as their paper equivalents
  • Your account registration and acceptance of these Terms constitutes a valid electronic agreement
  • Listings posted on this Platform are electronic commercial communications and must comply with all applicable Jordanian laws governing advertising and commercial offers
  • We maintain electronic records of transactions and communications in compliance with Jordanian record-keeping requirements

5. Consumer Protection Compliance

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law of Jordan:

  • All listings must accurately represent the goods, services, or opportunities being offered
  • Businesses must not engage in deceptive pricing, false advertising, or misleading claims
  • Users who discover fraudulent or deceptive listings are encouraged to report them through our reporting system
  • Amman Board cooperates with the Consumer Protection Directorate and relevant authorities upon lawful request

6. Listing Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Amman Board. By posting a listing, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your listing on the platform and associated channels.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any listing that violates these Terms, Jordanian law, or that we determine to be inappropriate, misleading, or harmful to the platform's integrity.

7. Moderation and Review

All submissions are subject to review before they appear on the platform. We aim to complete reviews within 24 to 48 hours. We reserve the right to reject any submission without explanation if it does not meet our content guidelines or Jordanian legal requirements.

8. Paid Plans and Pricing

Amman Board offers both free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of subscription. Plan activation requires contacting us directly. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. No payment gateway is currently integrated; all plan payments are handled manually via direct contact.

9. No Guarantee

Amman Board does not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, quality, or legitimacy of any listing posted by users
  • That you will receive responses or business from your listing
  • The outcome of any interaction or transaction between users
  • Continuous, uninterrupted access to the platform

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any business arrangement found through the platform. Amman Board is not liable for any losses, disputes, or damages arising from interactions between users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman Board and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses resulting from business arrangements with other users, data loss, unauthorized access, or service interruptions. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Intellectual Property

The Amman Board name, logo, design, and all original content on the platform are the property of Amman Board, protected under Jordanian intellectual property laws including the Copyright Protection Law and the Trademarks Law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, and restrict access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or acts in a manner that is harmful to the platform or its community. Users will be notified of account actions where reasonably possible.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication. If an amicable resolution is not reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including but not limited to the Electronic Transactions Law No. 15 of 2015, the Personal Data Protection Law, and the Consumer Protection Law. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Amman, Jordan.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
